You can never have enough toilet humor.

This outfit has to be one of my all-time favorites. A lot of times, people try to combine plate with plate, chain mail with chain mail and so on. This combination is the Lightbringer pauldrons and the Runecloth robe. Black, yellow and white. While normally I would say that combination makes someone look like a bumblebee, this combination makes me look like a cleric to contend with! Go, go Argent Crusade!

You might be asking what a Blood Elf could want with the Argent Crusade; I’ll tell you. …>.> I can’t help that I have a thing for Tirion Fordring. You just shut up.

This next outfit is another favorite. This screams casual on so many levels. If you’re strolling about the town, what’s the point in looking like you’re ready to go to a fancy ball? You’re walking aimlessly. You might as well be comfortable, right? The Gossamer tunic and Abjurer leggings do so much for my slim figure that it’s not even funny. We’re Blood Elves, for crying out loud. We could wear potato sacks and make them look great.

Sadly, Della, you have an outfit like that in real-life, too.

I know. …I love the moccassin-like boots. So comfy.

Okay, so you’re not into pants for whatever reason. (You’re the only woman who is an anti-feminist.) Not a problem. You can be casual with this dress and compliment the natural copper tones of your skin. Having red hair helps, too. I wouldn’t suggest overdoing it with the red coloring, though. Too much red and you’ll borderline a Scarlet… or a used tampon.

This outfit… —> Is not “emo.” Rather than running around in the full black mageweave set, I decided to set it with something that most men wear. Holt has an outfit damn near exact to this one. (That’s because you stole the idea from me.) I watched Rogues and other “shady characters” run around in outfits that either screamed they had raided VanCleef’s closet or they went for the most taboo-looking piece of clothing they could find. Not only does this outfit complement my figure, it leaves a lot to the imagination. I’m not showing you every little puffy part of my body, but I’m not trying to come off as being too aloof.

The belt fails to match.

Ohmigod. Black pants and brown belt… I’m ashamed.

Last, but not least, the Robes of Insight. 2 out of 3 women have this or want it badly enough to farm like hell for it. Of those same women, 90% of them wear it at every possible place they can, once they get it. Yes, yes, be proud that you got it. Enjoy how beautiful it looks. –But do you really have to wear it to prove you’re a noblewoman or some great wizardess? (Is that even a word?)

When there is occasion to wear it, flaunt it by all means. I’ve just noticed that women like wearing things that are gaudy to prove how “fashionable” they are. Sorry, ladies, wearing this does not make you instantly fashionable. Just means you have good taste in dresses.

I see a lot more of Della than I did twenty years ago.

It is the safest thing to wear.

Well I did get a piece or two out of the Vault of Archavon, the rest I worked my ass off for.

What is it you like about the outfit?

I blend right into the wild.

Well, not only is it classy, but it’s comfortable. I mean, can you deny that much?

Where did you acquire such an outfit?

Well this staff, y’see, I created with my engineering skills. Well, I didn’t exactly create it. More like… improved it. She’s got all sorts of tricks up her sleeves. All the machines are custom made and the clothes themselves are of the highest quality.

What is it you like about the outfit?

It illustrates the regalness of my status as a Noble.

Do you have a name for this outfit?

Not particularly. I usually just refer to it as the General’s Battlearmor.

What inspired you to create this outfit?

This outfit was given to me for high service in the Stormwind Army.

Well, that answered my next question. So– What is it you like about the outfit?

It lets people know the triumphs I’ve been through, the hardships, and the difficulty of my craft. It’s been a long road for me but it’s paid off. In addition to that, it lets my soldiers know I’m not to be trifled with. *He chuckles*

Be proud of your dark nature -- flaunt it!

Okay, here at the Wyrmrest Fashionistas we’re all for the desire to make your special snowflake the prettiest and best special snowflake ever… One problem… Who ever thought that dark skin tone and obnoxiously blonde hair looks good? I’m sorry, but the match up of these two dynamically different things does not go well with any sort of outfit… At all.  

Della, why do you have a problem with this?  

It’s simple, my dear reader — it’s annoying! I find myself increasingly irritated by people who make female characters with the darkest skin tone and put the brightest shade of hair color on them and run around like this. No matter what you dress yourself in (even if it’s awesome Tier 11.99999), you’re never going to get past the whole tacky bit going on here.  

I’ve tried to find ways to make myself comfortable with the idea that the person I’m looking at is a dark flesh tone and atop their head is a blinking light… No, wait! That’s their HAIR.  

This really bothers you, doesn’t it, dear?  

What was your first guess?  

If you want your character to be blonde, please have regard for our eyesockets and give them the proper skin color. If you want a dark-skinned character, flaunt the darkened beauty that they are and give them luscious ebony hair to match. Unless you plan on explaining how you stole RuPaul’s look, I suggest trying to match hair to skin and you won’t have problems matching clothing. 

Your model will never look like this.

What are your comments? Honestly, Holt and I agree that it’s a bit pricey for a reskin of a current mount. If it were something like a two-seater mount with some seriously epic-looking skin or if some of the money went to a charity, we would be more inclined to buy one. We understand the fact that Blizzard is a business and their goal is to make money, we even respect that, but once everyone has one, this mount will cease to be worth the money and will even go down in price.

Then I’ll probably buy one…

Now… On to the hairstyles!

 This little number is known as the “No brow.” I’m not sure if he was in a fight with a razor or if he woke up one morning to find that genetics had taken a wrong turn and accidentally removed his eyebrows. A night elf without eyebrows is like RuPaul without a wig. It doesn’t make sense.

The dreadlock appearance of the hair, while it may seem contemporary or… hip (I believe is the term kids use these days), it doesn’t mesh very well with the body structure of the male night elves. The curls at the end give off the illusion that the male understands the desire to be coif, but, come on… When did male Night Elves begin to take on the personality of L.L. Cool J over Erykah Badu?

Okay, we’re all familiar with the commercial Mr. T did with the “Night Elf Mohawk.” (If you’re not, click the link and understand that we now know you’ve been under a rock for the last six months.) I can not stress how much is does NOT pay to take his advice and give your Night Elf a mohawk. Unlike the Trolls who had the wild rock-star appearance, this looks like you got into a fight with a lawnmower while laying down — and the mower won.

Copying Mr. T does not make you cool. You will not impress anyone above the age of 12. If you’re sporting this look and think it’s funny — please do us a favor and go back to school. Pay attention this time around. The mohawk was cute for about fifteen seconds.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what happens when you get your hairstyles from awesome landmarks. If you don’t think this doesn’t look like the Sears Tower in NYC, ask the Donald. He’ll tell you otherwise.

The Draenei Distinguished Gentleman does exist. This classic look combines what Velen and the Grand Anchorite would accept, but it also allows for an appearance for a nobleman. I like this look because the moustache isn’t overbearing and the forehead doesn’t scream: “LOOK! MY HEAD IS LAAAAAARGE!”

I could have done without the face tentacles, though.

Yes, well, it seems you can’t have facial hair on a Draenei without them having tentacles. Maybe they’re actually just really puffy hair follicles?

 This little number we call the “Bolvar Fordragon.” Coined by the High-Lord himself, and used in every version of the person that he had — this look is the loose hair that says that not only do you allow yourself freedom, you’re badass enough to not need long hair. We also attribute this look to Viggo Mortenson (you know, Aragorn from Lord of the Rings) and Jude Law — before he was totally face-smashed in scandal. The “Tirion Fordring” beard / goatee combination here makes the man look rugged, but not an animal. This combination looks good in black, brown and ginger. If you try this in blonde, you’re just not paying attention.

 This one is the ponytail… How many different versions of this can we find? Really? Every male race in this game seems to have some version of the ponytail – whether it’s plain like this one or fancy like the Blood Elves, men seem to like have long, flowing, rockstair hair without the need to have it all over the place. I want to know how many bottles of L’Oreal conditioner it takes to maintain the sleek appearance of this tail. If you’re wearing a long, shaggy beard with this style, you’re WRONG. We don’t want Humans to devolve into cavemen and dwell in the North. No, no. This style can be as manly as anything, so long as there is a well-trimmed beard to frame the facial structure. So what if you’ve got bushy brows? Men aren’t supposed to wax their bodies… Or are they?

I am not putting hot wax anywhere on my body where hair might be yanked out of the follicles. I’m not a masochist.

Okay, we get it, you’re a mountain man. You’ve gone up to the Grizzly Hills and you’ve decided to make your life there like you’re Jeremiah Johnson or something. What better way to do that than with the Norse-woods dual tail apperance? I can’t tell you how many times I was screamed at:

Okay! They aren’t! Originally decended down from the giants to the Vrykul and used widely by the Dwarven community, this look not only helps you look tough and manly (let’s face it, you don’t want to fisticuffs with someone whose hair could possibly beat you up, too), it also lets people know that you want to look free and untamed. Ladies– mark these men as good lover-projects.

Gnomes… So small… So weird… So puntable. Ahem. Sorry. Being a Gnome is probably the hardest job of anyone. You’re the smallest race of people who have possibly the better gifts of anyone out there. Hell, you’ve invented things that change people into other things and goggles that can see through clothes. In order to be seen when toddling around the town, it’s perfectly okay for a Gnome to put on something flashy and noticeable. This look is called the ‘Old Man.’ While the hair is kept to the back, the full and fun-loving beard in the front well makes up for it. –Just make sure you use sunscreen on your head otherwise you’ll boil that brain of yours!

 I told you Einstein was a Gnome.

Again, Gnomes are free to have any style or color they wish. When you’re only three feet tall and you’re wandering around Stormwind City or Ironforge, you’re going to want to stand out so you don’t get accidentally stepped on — or run over. This look is possibly the ‘sexiest’ appearance for Gnomes. Gnomish males, if you’re single — go for the moustache that says you’re thinking about all of the dirty things — but not willing to speak them.

This dude looks like the missing Musketeer.

Dwarven men have it easy — they can either look like their Human brethren or truly call themselves mountain men

Everytime I see a Dwarf I can only think of: “Country Boy Can Survive”

Braids on Dwarves are not uncommon and go back to the days of the Vikings and the Irish Celts. Enjoy this heritage because the mixture of the two makes Dwarves the only men who can wear a long braid in their hair and no one bothers to tell them that its girlie.

Okay, if you’re a Dwarf and you happen to be in the military — please don’t do this to yourself. You’re just asking for people to think you’re a pedophile. Everything from his bulbous nose to his beard that looks like an inversion of his hairstyle screams: HE’S TOTALLY GONNA RAPE YOU!

Either that or he looks like a very unhappy Amish guy. I don’t recall the Dwarven community being Amish. Ever.

THIS, is how a Dwarf should look: hair coming out of every hole for the exception of their eyes and sporting it wild, unbrushed and beefy. Sadly enough, as big and badass as a Tauren is, I doubt one would want to meet a skinner / huntsman that looked like this. This look tells people that you’re the kind of man who will eat his beef raw and plow a field with your pinky finger and still manage to grow things twice as big as anyone else.
